FAQ
We are here to answer any questions you may have. Our Land Wander trip specialist an help you plan and enjoy the perfect trip.
Planning & Equipment
All of the pieces of a successful trip (RV, campsites, activities, equipment) are highly dependent and variable. Any change (by you or provider) to a single piece requires more planning and time on the phone. We do the work for you, so you can enjoy a stress-free vacation.
We can’t think of a better wilderness. Who doesn’t love mountains, beaches, high-deserts and wines in the valley? Not to worry – we are expanding soon!
We encourage you to use your own vehicle or equipment wherever possible. We only ask that your vehicle is self-contained and certified to carry all your supplies and holding tanks necessary for storing any gray and black water, which is required by many of our overnight campsites. Our trip specialist will help build the perfect trip for you and accommodate your equipment.
All equipment comes with instructions, and RVs include additional training at time of pick up. Plus, our trip specialist is available 24×7 to answer any questions in a pinch.
Our trip specialist is available 24×7 to help you navigate your reservations.
Feel free to deviate from our trip as long as you coordinate with a trip specialist and return by the scheduled date. Mileage limitations may surface on some reservations.
How to Pack
All you have to do is pack personal amenities (like toiletries & clothes), food, and follow the itinerary for an amazing time outside. The RVs come with fresh water but we advise bringing drinking water and any other beverages of your choosing. RVs are also stocked with dishes and cooking ware.
Pets are allowed, in fact encouraged. Please let us know if you intend to bring any pets as it affects pricing. Please be mindful that some activities do not accommodate pets and you will be responsible for their care.
Trips are designed for 1-4 people (depending upon the trip). Final amounts will vary based on availability and number of people. Obey all seatbelt laws and do not drive with more people then legally allowed.
The number of people included in your party is determined by the number of DOT-approved safety belts in the vehicle. More passengers will decrease the per person cost of the rental but will increase the experience’s cost, which may have a total cost impact to the pricing of your adventure.
